My Story

Hey everyone,

Ill keep this short and to the point, My name is Jordan Iley and I am from Middlesbrough. Last year 2019 I completed my first ever triathlon and decided to do it and raise money for Leo's. I completed the York sprint triathlon and raised £160 in the process, however I have decided that it just isn't enough. With that in mind I have decided to raise more money this year by completing three different triathlons. I will be competing in the Richmond sprint triathlon on 26th April 2020, then moving onto the Cleveland triathlon (based in Stokesley) on 17th May 2020 and finishing off where it all started by completing the York sprint triathlon on 9th August 2020. As i am completing three different triathlons I have set myself a target of £300 to be raised, however i hope to smash this target.

I am doing this because I believe that every parent who endures a premature or traumatic birth and an admission to the neonatal unit deserves care and support. I believe those who care for us on our darkest days and look after our precious children need care and support too. I believe in acknowledging that help is need antenatally and in the community. I beleive that every parent, child and family deserves all the help and support they need in their darkest days. Leo's is growing day on day at a rapid rate and I plan on helping them grow faster in 2020.
